I am in the process of replacing my rear brake pads, I removed the old ones and I cant get the brake piston in so I can get the new pads in. I know its a screw typ piston meaning the piston rotates in and out like a screw. I try turning the piston clockwise and the thing just turns but doesnt go in.
Does anyone know any tricks to this? or is my brake piston screwed?
Any help would be appreciated!!!

from what my bentley manual says . . you need a special tool for the rear brake piston . . . i think you can get it from parts 4 vw . . oh by the way . . i've heard you can destroy the piston if you dont use the special tool and if you press on the brake pedal while its out
