The dash light will only work if your car was equiped with it from the factory. I believe it was only 1999 and 2000 models. I have a 2k1, and there is no light on the dash. The icon is there, but no light behind it. I had a guy on here modify the circuit board on the euro-switch to change a different color when I activated the rear fog. I forget his name on here, but I know other people know.

Last night I removed the cluster, and took it appart. Behind the Tach was the Cruse icon as well as the Rear fog. Both had an LED behind it.... ?

Check with ssheik. He's the resident electronics guru.

Yeah, that's the name!! If there are LED's there, all you might need to make it light up is the euro-switch, that has the rear fog option on it.

Re: Rear Fog Indicator (jettanjax)

Not the Icon on the Euro light switch, but the Icon in the dash. Above the EPC light.
Re: Rear Fog Indicator (the_nokia_guy)

Here's the breakdown:
- If you have a 99 or 2k car (most likely), you have the ability to have the icon on the dash light up. And all you have to do is plug in the Euroswitch, pull the switch out to activiate the rear fog, and the dash icon lights up, telling you the fog is on.
- If you have a 2k1 or newer (like myself), you don't have the ability to have the icon on the dash light up. In that case, you need to have the circuit board on the Euro-switch modified to light up when you turn on the rear fog.
I think that explains it all, right?
