I just replaced my bad bilstein shocks with a new set thinkin they were worn but still my cars butt still is crashing over bumps. I have abt springs that i belive are 2" plus drop it rides like crappy can someone tell me if springs are bad i have had them since 95

are you sure that they are tight enough?? sounds like they aren't... i am not sure about how easily you can see the tops of the strut towers, but on my golf you can just open the hatch and check them out....
take the rubber tops off of the strut towers and then put some weight (ie sit) on the rear deck of your car... you should not see any movement whatsoever in the top of the strut towers if they are in fact tight enough. if you do see movement (up and down that is) then they aren't tight enough which would cause clunking and such....
