reburning chip with new mods??

i was wondering if i get the giac chip with a turbo back exhaust, would i need to get it reburned if i get an upgraded turbo down the road?
i know the 03 cobra and 03 gti's are two totally different machines, but with the cobras everytime you get a new part that has a significant afect on the air/fuel you have to send in the chip to get new parameters put into it.
is this also the case with the gti's?

Yes, to run properly an upgraded turbo would require different boost & fuel maps... This is directly controlled by the ECU. So you can't really take advantage of a bigger turbo unless you have a chip that is tuned for it.
