Does VW dealers fix this if you bring in the car for the recall on the spring clamps on the fuel rail, or is there some due process you have to go through. I am gonna hit the dealer up on what to but before I do I was just gonna hit up the Votexers on this issue.

Re: Recall on fuel rail springs? (Teutonic)

Ok, well thats what I figured. But seeing Still need a Bently for the car just to guide me into the unfarmiliarities on my Corrado. I was wondering if when the car has sat for a while is there still pressure in the fuel rail? i.e. disconnect the hose and fuel sprays everywhere, or is the pressure bled off?

Re: Recall on fuel rail springs? (Non_Affiliated)

Pressure is bled off after a few days, don't worry. This is a problem that can be remedied in 15 minutes with $5.00, so don't hassle yourself in trying to deal with VWoA. As for why a recall was never issued for fuel dripping near hot exhaust components
