Lets see some pictures of your/any recaro seats..
i've got a Silver 87 Jetta GL w/ Blue inrerior and i wanna see if i could see what i'm missing and if i can get blue recaros AND (lastly) is there a differnce in the seats for a GTI & GLI? i know there is for the back seats but... how about the front?
These look a little bluish due to the camera setting but are indeed grey. The biggest difference is the power and non-power recaros, from what I know. Power recaros have one seatback release handle vs. 2 and I've been told they have a longer bottom cushion? Can't confirm that myself.
edit: those are stock '86 GLI door panels which are a silver grey.
I have 16v GTI with powered recaro seats. There is a bit of a difference than the non powered. The head rest are different, the bolster a bit different, and of course they a powered. Also the there is only one lever for folding down the seat to get into the back. The non power ones seem to have them on both sides of the seat, like in the picture above.
I just put in Corrado seats in my car and I've now got a pair of helios blue
recaros [powered] that I'm trying to sell. Too bad I live in Hawaii. http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif
