Back in the day when coilovers weren't the norm Bilstein sports with neuspeed springs was considered one of the best sport mind suspensions for daily driving. I had them and loved the setup, I've since decided to go low.

Neuspeed, H&R, or Eibach springs

KYB GR2, Bilstien HD, or Koni FSD shocks.

Any of those will do you well.

I still run that setup currently. Love it. Great ride and not too low. About a 1.5" drop. I have tokigo' in the rear but that is semantics. If you want to kick it up one more step get the adj dampening Koni sports inserts.
