OK, so I just learned the R32, V6 Toureg, and base V6 Cayenne share the same 3.2. But we all know the "same" doesn't always mean it's a
plug-n-play swap. Anyone have any knowledge on the relevant differences between the engines for swap purposes...

touareg and r32 have different intake manifolds

this is good to know. Also, You've posted before that the Toureg block is a little bigger. Is this ture?

Golf R32 is transverse and the Toe-rag:laugh: is longitudinal.

Does that necessarily mean it can't be mounted transverse?

not in that setup but possible, but just too much work exchanging the parts for your setup.
