Hey guys, I did a search and did'nt come up with anything and the bentley is'ent helping me so here goes.
I'm in the first stages of removing my whole engine and need some advice on removing the a/c componets. I want to have the whole front of the engine bay open, so I need to remove the radiator and the a/c condenser(I think thats what its called) that is attached to the radiator.
If I just disconnect the hoses going to the condenser will refrigerant spray everywhere? Is refrigerant spraying everywhere a bad thing? Is it dangerous? If I cant just open it up and let it spray out(which I doubt I can) how do I get it out so I can disconnect those pieces?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Removing a/c on '92 SLC (HisMajesty)

Alex, I want your a/c hoses and condensor for my A2 Jetta. I don't want to bother having the A2 hose modified, so I'll buy yours.
I'm in Anaheim near the 57/91 fwys.
Let me know if you want to sell them, e-mail me.
