Removing bar holding exhaust...

Getting rid of annoying TT exhaust resonance...

I have a TT 2.5 and the resonance annoys me. I removed the bar that supports the exhaust. Is this ok? The sound is not so bad anymore. Any other things to do to get rid of the resonance?

I think the bar is there to support the exhaust if the hangers fail.
That is a big "I think".
