I need some help removing my stock hatch
its a 97 GTI the 3rd brake light is mounting inside on the glass.
any info would be awesome

just getting the thing off, i did some searches, left me with more questions,
At first i thought i have to remove the 4 tiny bolts at the top of the hatch, but i guess i dont remove thoses

How do i removing the 2 sets of wires a tthe top cornes of the hatch?
How do i remove the gas struts that open/ keep the hatch open?
