I can't answer the question of if you
can (because I really don't know); but, I'll let Dr. Ian Malcolm say this:
"Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they
could, they didn’t stop to think if they
should."
The car behaves that way for good reasons.
One: Safety feature. "You're sure you want to start it, yes"?
Two: If pushing Start
always starts the engine (regardless of brake pedal status), how are you going to turn the car on without starting it (e.g. diagnosis, repair?)
