Hi folks, I have searched the vortex forums and have come up empty so I am asking in a new thread here. My apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere.

I pulled the CIS fuel injectors from my 1987 Cabby. Three of them have the following Bosch part number: 437 502 026. One of them has the Bosch part number: 437 502 041.

My questions are:
1. Is there a reason they don’t all have the same part number?
2. Any idea why none of these correspond to the part numbers listed on CabbyInfo for my model year, 1987? Are they interchangeable

3. Should I just replace them all with Bosch part number 437 502 045? Or is there some other new part number Bosch is manufacturing now that I can replace them with?

Before spending large replacing those injectors, have you tried cleaning them?

Updated part number is 437-502-045. Replace them for the $50 bucks a piece its easier to toss in new ones.

Hey I wasn’t looking forward to spending 800 plus to revamp the fuel system on my cabrio project but in the essence of “ not having to fix it again” it was money well spent for peace of mind.

$75 for all 4. Cleaning is a good bit of effort and trial and error. Been there. Time = money. Replacement (at this cost at least) is the way to go.

I tried cleaning them but just can’t seem to get a good conical spray.

Still a good chunk of change. A wise shopper can find the seals and sleeves for another $20 shipped. Save the $150 for other repairs. Just my $0.02.
