I need to replace the shocks on my camper. Shox.com and others who sell Bilstein HD show the same shock (B46-1911 and B46-1912) for the standard van as the camper. My dealer has a seperate part number for the camper shocks, though I'de rather not get the OEM Boge units.
Could anyone advise me on whether the Bilsteins are the best way to go. Price is very good compared to OEM. I just don't want to find they are not suitable for the extra weight of the camper model.

Spoke with Bilstein and and few vendors.....

They said springs carry the load shocks will be right for the camper. One vendor, http://www.eurocampers.com/, said the Bilstein HD's were perfect on the camper but felt they were too damped for the standard van. Going to call Darryl at shox.com and order a set ;-)
