The heater channels are the worst on my poor baby and absolutely must be swapped out. I am sick of looking at the ground under me through the vents and, well, it can't be too good for structural integrity! Unfortunately I have no experience in metal work whatsoever.

Anyone had their channels replaced by a shop? What I am really wondering is how much this is going to cost me.

I've asked around here in Minneapolis and most quotes were $1000-$1500 to replace channels and floor boards.

it might be cheaper to get a rolling chassis if you can find one w/ good heater channels
