Yeah, I had a great time; it was my first VW gtg! It was fun meeting the faces behind the screen names, and thanks to all who made this newbie feel very welcome. Can't wait for the next one!

G, I had a blast. It was great to meet so many others who share a common interest. Hello to Everett and Angela, Lawrence (dude, I'm gonna drop by your pad when I get my gauge pod and gauges!), Tuan and his wife (sorry, don't remember her name), and of course, Gena and Net Net (love those 19's!). I liked the name tag idea. I'm sure some found it lame, but it is a great way of putting names to faces. It also helps rookies (myself) feel a little more comfy.
Anyone ever think of holding a "how-to" clinic at a gtg? Nothing major, but maybe something useful like swaybar install, gauge hook-ups (Lawrence?!), sub-woofer mods, etc.? Just a thought...

I love Gene's seats aswell! ...and Isaac keeps surprising me each GTG on his mod to that 98 black nb...I used to be right with him in miles when I had my 98 black nb....then I got turbo feaver.

oh my gosh Gena, you have to explain where all these miles are coming from. I didn't think it was humanly possible(i calculate that's 6 times around the earth in 2, or 3 years). I thought I was a major miler, because i've put 13,000 in 6 months, but at the rate you're talking about, I'm only at about 1/3 your rate. I do understand how fun are cars are to drive, so not much explanation needed.
