Okay.. winter is upon us.. and I know I'll be doing a fair amount of driving in bad conditions..
I remember when I was a kid, my dad had a set of rock guards for the Jetta.. they were made of small guage steel wire.. like a big flat rectangular basket.. I guess the weave was about 1cm square.. they were black.. most likely powdercoated.
I dont remember how they clipped onto the lense, but I do remember that he lost one.. and then threw out the other because of that.
Has anyone here ever seen these items?
Are they a vw part?
I dont think I've seen them on a car since the 80's and I thought it would be fun to sport them..

anyone?

Lyle,
I don't have any access to those headlight guards. I honestly think you
could probably get those at Canadian tire. But I can't be sure. I haven't
seen them for quite some time.
If you need any thing else, please feel free to call.
