Roof rack bike attachment help.

I just got a bike rack with a bike holder attachment, not the fork mounted kind. Unfortunately the holder didn't come with instructions. If someone could be so kind as to maybe email me a scanned copy or post some sort of walk thru...Tab A into slot B kind of stuff. Thanks so much...
