I tried the search didnt find anything. so im getting new wheels, they are 14s, just wondering, width, 8 or 9? my fenders are rolled, but with 16 by 8 with a et15 i did rub a bit even after rolling fenders, would going to smaller wheel but wider make it worst? also witch et to run? what tire size do you guys suggest.
judging by the pics i can go lower, might have to change my lip to get around the crazy quebec roads but thats it.
so im looking for your wisdom vortexers

only reason you are rubbing so much is because you have the wrong offset as do everyone else with sportmaxx wheels

Re: Running 14s (SpreadTheGroove)

depends on the type of suspension you are running, but even w/ b&g 3" drop the fronts never rubbed on my friends mk2.. he had 14x9 bcw steffans w/ 195/45/14.. the back rubbed though.. we had to add some spring helpers on the rear springs to keep it from rubbing/cutting the tire after we rolled the fenders
Re: Running 14s (generations)

I can't help you with the wheel question but had to say - that jetta is perfect! Nice!
