yeah, so lately my jetta has started acting weird.
there isnt much power until 3000 rpms, at that point the car gains speed like a champ without moving the gas pedal any further than it had been.
the last thing i did was an oil change, i think my oil might be too thick cause i used lucas oil additive, which was thick like molasses. (and its starting to get cold around here.)
do you think oil that's too thick would cause something like this?

I had the same problem with my jetta.

Change your CTS.

i did, i originally wanted to fix a problem of running too rich, but the CTS didnt help anything, so i changed the O2 sensor. that helped alot, but the CTS, when plugged in, still made the car hesitate alot under load. (and yes, i did clear the computer by revving it through 3k 3 times)
anyway, first i bought one from the junkyard and nothing... then i bought one new.
nothing
i currently have it unplugged, but i will try driving it with it plugged in now. ill get back to you later.
