It would be really hard to mount the engine longitudinally in that engine bay, there's not much room at all. After all, they had to invent a working narrow-angle engine just to fit a v6 in sideways.
A better bet would probably be to do a Syncro swap. That way you're getting AWD. And if you're hooked on RWD, I'm sure you could rig it somehow with a modified Syncro driveline. That approach would probably be MUCH easier than changing the engine mounting and using a foriegn (Porsche) driveline, since the Porsche's driveline's dimensions are going to be completely different from your Corrado.
