This was on a while ago. I made him an offer for the engine, ECU and tranny that was pretty gernerous IMHO, and he refused.

But he says it doesn't run. Gawd, if I got my Golf GL I would just want that steering wheel lol. However, since it doesn't run, and the oil pan is cracked I wouldn't bid on it, but if I knew that I could get it licensed in Ohio and that it wasn't damaged I would consider it.

If anyone is looking for a steering wheel like that I have one. It needs an airbag <they are extremely flammable, and mouy expenso to ship because of that> so buy one at a dealership

weird. He said that it was running before. Maybe 2 people are selling different Cosmic Green GTI's both with front damage. Coincedence?

I remember another Cosmic Green GTi with major front end damage for sale, but the other one had nice aftermarket
wheels and i think some scrape damage to the roof above the windshield and upper door arch, as if it had rolled over
onto it's roof. At least the other one ran. I'd be very wary of severe hidden engine damage on this new one since the
oil pan need replacing. Interesting to see how the steering wheel center rips to allow the airbag to deploy.
