For those that don't know, a recently released Recall is available for cars that are affected.
Issue The rubber seal around the engine compartment may deform or come loose from its engineered placement. Worst case scenario, it may contact hot parts of the engine and cause a fire.
Precautions It is possible to see the engine compartment seal is not in its intended position with the hood open. If you experience this, you are advised to contact your local authorized Audi Dealer to have them take a look.
Repair Repair available after September 18, 2020 and with parts availability. Dealer will install a retaining plate to keep the seal in its position.
It is advised to contact your dealer and set up an appointment for parts availability. Some dealers may not do the Recall until the customer has received a notice in the mail.
