Ok guys...I think it'll be kind of tough to keep up with this past weekend. So here's my idea. Anyone up for a meet at the Pavilions at bout 4??? I'd like to see a large number of Dubs roll out there too. Anyone up for it?
By the Way...I know alot of you guys aren't big fans of the Pavilions but we're better off going there until we can find a lot that we wont get kicked out of. Im still looking for one of those too.

Sounds like a plan, plus its good to get a little car culture. I have mad respect for a worked V8 so I enjoy going to the pavillions.

Well this weekend is just gonna be Sat at the Pavilions...Next weekend is also just going to be Sat. The Sunday pic idea was pushed to Sat the 23rd so we can give some notice and plan everything out a bit better (BBQ, etc).

I'll try to make it out to the pavilions around 4ish. Anyone know what time the gates open at the club rio show?
You guys missed a fun autocross!!! There were all 4 generations of H20 VW's represented, but the fastest was the good 'ol Golf 1 (rabbit), when the poor lil' bunny wasn't puking up water. The funny thing is that I think we all raced in the same class. We should get more dubs out there next month.

I emailed Frenchy at Wolfsburg Registry about the Copperstate at Club Rio. He says be there at 8am Sunday if you want to show your car. There's only one WC class though, with a winner and runner-up. Maybe we shouldn't enter, just have a show of our own in the parking lot. Can we get 60 cars again?
There's also an open house at Competition Engineering in Tempe on Saturday, 12-5pm I think.

Damn, I couldn't make that auto x.. injector O rings were SHOT I'm surprised it was running.. ran like ****e though.. a 16v that wouldn't go past 5500 rpm

I dont know of a head count at all. I do know that some other guys from Tucson may come up too. Chris with the 1.8T GTi an ghost flames called me last nite. He'll be here and he said some of his friends were comin too for the Show sunday. But I have no idea whos comin out Sat nite.
And Phil...SHOW IT!!! Its just us. If you hated it that much you wouldnt drive it at all

I dont think my car is going anywhere this weekend. I am hearing a weird noise coming from the motor and it has made me pretty paranoid. I made an appointment for this Monday at the dealership to have it checked out.
I smelled something burning twice yesterday, my filter was off and I drove through all the dirt at Speedworld, and when revving it a little (4000 rpm) there was a metal on metal sound.
