Starting problems.
Okay so I have an 84 gti 8v. I have been having a starting issue. It starts up fine on some days and on others it will only start if I push the shifter all the way to the right by the 5th gear and wiggle it a bit. Then it starts up. Then if I mess with the ignition/key slightly turn it into the run position while the car is runnig it will turn off. I have no idea what this could be so if you can help me I would be greatful. Thanks
