I was at the dealer having them drain some oil out of my car from the oil change this morning. They had put to much in (ohh well atleast I caught it). But I saw one of the tech get into a red bug I heard him talking about that had been having CEL's left and right.
He jumped it and then just rev'd the snot of it. I mean it was screaming. He'd let off and do it again!!!!!
I was like WTH. This is why I stand outside until they bring my car into the garage.
Any ideas why he did that to the poor bug???

Thats alright, I had the guy who sold me my car tell me about how he was doing 90 MPH four wheel slides in a WRX that was out on the lot. I test drove it the day before. He also told me about how he took a passat out and the tires rolled so bad, they had marks half way down the sides of the sidewall. The stories go one and on, he could have been just trying to show off, I dont know. I was sure when I bought my car that it only had a few miles on it, and I got the one in the showroom. I told the guy if I ever found out he took my car out like that, I would return it in a heartbeat. I dont know who the guy thought he was, taking these cars out, with less than 100 miles on them, and driving them like that. BTW he told me he did it at the ford race track. It was in Michigain. What a idiot

Wow that guy is a complete and udder moron.
Luckly my TDI had 17mi on it and was right off of the truck.
Although when I was test driving an Auto TDI the sales guy (younger that the rest)

mine had 10 miles on the odometer when i bought it, including 4 from my test drive...

Just bought a new car under the condition that it needed to come just off the truck with the protective plastic left on until i arrived at the dealer. Otherwise no deal.

Landrumdh, In Massachusetts and probably other, ahem "progressive " states, the emissions inspection includes running diesels at full speed with no load. I cringe at the thought.
