Saw Euro Passats with 1.8T badge and 20V badge - What's the Difference??

Besides the obvious lettering do these two designations refer to different engines? If so, how are they different?

On the old b5 (non-chrome) there was an 1.8 20V (non-turbo) with 125hp, this engine has been replaced by the 2.slo now.

I guess the 20V was only put on Passats in Great Britain (1.8 non Turbo), at least I only saw it there. Here in Germany the 1.8 with 125hp came with a 1.8 badge, the 1.8 Turbo with a 1.8 T badge.

True the "20V" badge is a UK spec one that is why you can't get it here on the mainland

Only in the UK, all 4 cylinder B5's sold there specifically in the year of 1999 alone had either a 20V chrome V, or a 20V red V badge. The chrome V badge designated non-turbo, the red badge indicated turbo.
Here is a picture of my '99 with the infamous red V badge some of us bought as an alternative to the other non-USA-OEM Passat trunk badge, the chrome 1.8T.
