isn't vw motor sport only in OBD1?
Oh, SLC PUNK, do you still have your raddo for sale? It is really nice, I would have never sold my raddo if it was a VR6. I sold it and and a week later it got stolen.

I don't know much about EIP's NA Tuning, but I know for a fact you can't go wrong with the Schrick.. VGi with 268s, along with TB and all the other suspect mods and you'd be haulin' pretty good and lookin good doin it!

I had an EIP... I felt VERY LITTLE difference if any... I say Shrick.

The EIP is cut & welded on the underside to mimick the Corrado 2.9L intake manifold. It robs a bit of low end but adds top end power. The Schrick VGI uses resonance tuning to give a huge lump of torque from 3500-4000 rpm, but little top-end gains. If you're going forced induction or buidling a very wild all-motor VR6, the EIP (or real 2.9L manifold) is the one to have, as the VGI is a limiting factor in achieving big hp numbers. For your average tuned VR6, the VGI compliments a set of cams nicely by giving you low end grunt to add to the top end pull of the cams (and more than makes up for any low end losses from the cams). Just remember that you have to remove the VGI every time you want to change or check your spark plugs. http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif That's where the VSR comes in...

dont waste your money... get some DSR cams and a garrett chip.. way more bang for the buck
Re: Schrick or EIP intake manifold? Which is better? (Absolut_VW)

VSRs are extremely rare. VW Motorsport produced a limited quantity in the early '90s. A guy named Niels from Finland used to sell some on the 'Tex, but he got out of the business recently. Most are floating around Europe, but there are a few out here. Be prepared to pay around $2K for a piece of VW Motorsport history! Bang for the buck is terribly low. If you want the low-end torque gains, get the widely availalbe Schrick at half the price.
