I got some Dr. Pepper spillage in my 89 Jetta. I think I should get some seat covers for my Jetta. Can I just use those regular generic seatcovers from walmart or is there a type that looks good in MK2s
Any recommendations?
I would really like some black seat covers with a Volkswagen symbol on them.

Actually a follow up on this...
I, too, would like to know of a seat cover that fits particularly well. The generics (wal-martish, pepboys) SUCK.
I have the stock sport seats from 86 GTI's (I know, I know... the recaros will come soon enough), but I would like some covers that fit well.

i have some generic seat covers from Costco and they fit great, just until i get recaros, have one leather recaro for drivers side, but i need to make a custom bracket for it

These I got at pepboys, they look pretty nice. They have a nice lumbar pillow thing and better bolsters than stock seats. They come in black, blue, red, and the elusive yellow, can't see them too well but here they are:
