The pump is that big plastic can-looking device in the front of your engine, between the front of the block and the radiator fans.
You need to check the operation of the pump, the Kombi valve, and the solenoid valve that opens the Kombi valve, in addition to the plastic hoses from the pump to the Kombi valve and the vacuum hoses between the solenoid valve and the Kombi valve.
Have fun!

what to you mean have fun? i just spent four hours two nights ago taking apart my engine checking my cam install!!?? j/k, thanks, the little vacuum hose did seem to be a little chewed up from removing it 5 times within the last two weeks.
so lets say i drop the intake manifold with the air injector pump a few times by accident..

it probably isnt working well but it shouldnt cause my engine to stall . my car just stalled in neutral after ideling at about 300-400 rpms for a few seconds!!

Nope, it won't cause it to stall. As long as the secondary air codes are all its throwing, your problem is elsewhere. The secondary air injection system has nothing to do with how the car runs.
