The other day I parked my 2010 Passat and the left chrome trim button flew off my auto trans' shifter knob. I picked it up off the floor and stuck it back on.
Came home and parked and it was off again.
I cannot find it and I'm left with the black plastic that the button covered now.
It is the part circled I need:

I couldn't find a part number of drill down of the shifter assembly on line to help with my search.
Any idea where I can get one? The whole shifter assembly is over $500.

Found the missing piece.
FYI, there is one or two sites on ebay that sell Passat knobs; no idea how well they install.
