shifter options?

hey I have two friends from Denmark who are over here visiting and they have a 95 A4 1.8t 5 speed and a 97 A4 1.8t 5 speed. They saw my Audi TT short shifter I have in my 03 GTI and loved it. I was just wondering if it would work for their cars or not? IF not what other options do they have? They would like to purchase them over here because its much cheaper then in Denmark as they have crazy high prices on everything over their. Thanks for you help.

No, your MkIV shifter won't work.
The best place for short shifters:

No b5 part listed.

Because there is very little money to be made supplying b5 parts as compaired to vw jetta/golf parts. Jim only has so much time and money, has to go where the margin is!

Re: (docurley)

The thing I worry about with ebay is that they don't seem to specify which a4 it's for. Push down reverse? Threaded knob? Clip on knob?
I'd be worried id try to order and it woudln't fit right.

The kit has all the parts for both and it takes the stock knob or aftermarket.
