I like my autotech. I really can't compare it to anything else. It supposedly reduces shift by 20% up and down but not side to side. It is also the least expensive at $50.00. I got mine for $40 when it was being promoted. I have had it for about 3 weeks and there is a very noticeable difference. You don't have to push so hard when shifting.

I have had the Dieselgeek shifter in for a week now. Works well. Shorter throws all around. Very precise into each gate. A little harder to shift, but I like it, and will get used to it.
diesel geek is a regrind of existing parts....hopefully the parts that are turned in to him to be remanufactured are of good quality and structural integrity. You are paying for his work and know how.
He is the only one to offer a side to side throw reducer...
Autotech is just selling you the Audi TT shift linkage.
Neuspeed and others remake your factory shift mechanism in black anodized steel a replacement and can still go back to stock if you want. Plus the quality is excellent. Also it is rated at a better reduction for front to back reduction.
I have the neuspeed because I got a really good price on it and its design and manufacture are top notch. I also have the diesel geek side to side reducer.
the question is if TT shift linkage is shorter to begin with...can diesel geek now regrind this audi one and make a kit that is better than his current kit using stock components?
Thanks for having my back on this one Meats00GLX! Even if the Autotech is the Audi TT shifter which I have no proof of, it is still great for the money. Besides aren't Audi's supposed to be better than VW's. Isn't that why many of us have purchased those cool looking TT pedals? Well I did for two reasons 1) they look awesome and 2) the were easy to install (sort of) Anyways maybe the Dieselgeek is better but like I said I don't know because I have never tried it!
