Re: Short shift kits for mk3 vr6? (ebxgsxr)

AWE short shifter. The gold standard. A bee-ahtch to install, but once in (combined with Redline tranny fluid) it feels better than any shifter in any car I've ever driven--911s, M3s, Boxsters, Z3s, whatever. I sh*t you not.
And as I understand it, the basic deiselgeek short shifter requires an additional mod to shorten up the side-to-side throw. Not so with the AWE kit--front-to-back and side-to-side shortened as soon as it's in.

It is as easy as can be for both parts to go in, and it feels great. Super tight feeling with a good amt of shortining in the throws. Adjustment on mine was in the 1 minute range. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif www.dieselgeek.com
