Re: Should I be Concerned ?? :-| (DubAdicted)

You always get misfires in the cold. Racing in the cold shouldn't hurt your car at all. Still get it checked if you are worried but IMO I run it till I get a CEL and deal with it then because I don't really have the time to deal with minor problems on a MKIV, MKIVs are made up of a bunch of minor problems..

Re: Should I be Concerned ?? :-| (turbovolks)

Well I have cleared the codes for now, but if they come
back I will definately go to the dealer again - I mean there's
no 'performance' mods on my car and it's quite new

I think the misfires might be from -20C to -30C weather that we
had for a few days, and the turbo thing could be just a one timer.
In any case they are reflashing my ECU with newest code today,
but that's for jerky switching between 3rd to 4th gear in my Tip.
Oh by the way, no CEL yet

Thanks for the info.
