Re: Should I replace the timing belt myself or save myself the headache? (G60ING)
i looked into it and for me at least it seems like more of a pain in the ass than it's worth. i just bought the belt for $7 from germanautoparts.com along with a new tensioner pulley for $20 and my mechanic is going to replace it for $150 and that includes changing the tranny fluid with redline MT-90 and replacing the brake fluid with ATE super blue. i bought all the parts my self and it is cold here in NY so for me it is easier to pay the $150.
