My neighbor down the street has an '80s S-Class with this same sticker.
I think that was factory from the W140 and later? My W126/C126 560SEC had that sticker in the windshield, and I thought it was cool, but I think the previous owner added it.

I like the emblem Chrysler put into K cars proudly declaring their front wheel drive system right under the instrument cluster.

This 'FWD' lettering was used only on models with a manual transmission. That window was for the PRNDL display on the automatic-equipped cars. Rather than make a different cluster housing without that window for the stick shift cars, Chrysler saved money and simply put the wording in that window instead.

Dodge Scat Pack decals.

I've read conflicting stories of them being factory installed, dealer installed, or owner installed --- perhaps a mix of all three?

Any Mopar folk here who knows the deal?

Difficult to find pix of originals as most are repops.




I totally dig the psychedelic atmosphere of those times. :)
