i would like to pick up a set, and i am faced with the age old question of hella vs. votex. i like the hellaness of the hellas, and i like the larger lights on the votex.
oh yeah, i also want to swap out the grill... suggestions?

the surrounds are votex and can be purchased from potterman, i think...(don't know if he sells the surround separately)
the bimmer lights i'm not sure of. he retrofitted them from something with projectors.(e36 maybe...??)
either way, they look badass on an mkIII. big ups to Hatl for originality.
(and Andyman, he's sportin the votex/boser dealy too

)

i photoshopped some votex duals on my car... as well as a new grille... what do you think?

oh yeah,
i dropped it and threw on some 17" mille miglas for the hell of it also... i wish i could photoshop me some cash so i could afford all of these mods.

ProjektZwo projectors lights are used.. see how the city light is on top in it.. thats how the ZWo's are. and on his page it says that too

man, I'm really starting to like the votex better...but getting votx wouldn't really be a lighting upgrade of sorts, right? Cause the hella are projectors and the votex just regular lamps? TTT

The abt, Votex and Cerillo really have bad output, I have heard the abt are the worst. If you want a true lighting upgrade, go for the projectors.....

I have had my Votex lamps up with some Zwo duals and both looked to preform even.
