Looking to see what a 1.5" drop from H&R sports on a GTI with 16"/17" rims will look like. I've done some searching on vortex but haven't really come up with anything concrete.

yep! thanks. I can't take too much credit, they came with the car, but definitely influenced my purchasing decision...

16x7.5".
Don't make fun of my parking job! I only did that for the photos.

Your car looks a lot lower than Slapshotnerd's golf on teh same suspension setup (http://www.geocities.com/slapshotnerd/golf.html). Why is that? Or is it just the angle?
Slapshotnerd: what is the gap between your fender and the top of the tire?
I'm having 2nd thoughts about putting the H&R sports + bilstein sports on my car and was thinking of selling the setup I bought to go for an H&R cup kit.

Well, his Golf is a 2.0, my GTI is a VR6. The extra couple hundred pounds sitting on the springs could do that. Tire height, the angle of the shots could both be a factor also.
scarecro the color is Windsor Blue like my sig says.
