Hey, any of you guys recognize GimpyBens car. It's kinda famous. It was a feature car in the October 1988 issue of VW & Porsche magazine and it looked exactly the same then as it does in those pictures. Hey Ben, when were those taken anyway? Are you the guy that built it?

Phenix, too bad for the rain on the Saturday of Hot Import Shows, I was the only Scirocco there.

I would have loved to see your's.
Do you still have those mags (the Konig's)? Or are those Daniel's now?!?

PA 16v, no you didnt talk to me,because i didnt go to that car show.
I sold the konigs to Dan,and went back on 16`s,the 17`s might look good,but the car behave much better with the 16`s.

Taken while it was still owned by Brian, mine (now) is on the left..

It's off the road for awhile until I have some time to do the body and mech work, but it's a jewel. Love it.

No I didn't build it. The guy that did seemed to have abandoned the car. I've been trying to figure out the story behind it, but haven't had much luck. I don't suppose you have a copy of that article you could scan do you?
