Hi, I have a 2007 Jetta tdi, manual. It has about 170,000 km on it and I am the third owner who purchased it at around 165,000 km.

Ever since I got it, when I take off and release the clutch, it vibrates, shudders, labours. This only happens in take off and not in any other gear.

Im just wondering if this is normal or if it’s something that can be fixed or needs to be fixed?

the previous owner said that they replaced the clutch a few years ago but they couldn’t tell me what type was put in.

thanks for any replies.

It could be normal depending on which aftermarket clutch. Worst I've experienced it myself was with a Spec clutch.
