Does anybody have pics of side exit exhaust on a gti, preferably mk4, or info on where to buy it?

I'll settle for a decent photoshop pic. I am really interested in this mod, i think it would be unique, i just wanna know if it looks decent on a gti.

your serious about the side exit exhaust? no one makes a 'kit' yet, but Bug_Power was making one for his bug.
btw.. you should come to our GTG tomorrow night (sat, 2/9) 8 pm at Krispy Kreme in the AZ Mills parking lot. Should be about 30 dubs there.

Well, KK is hosting us tomorrow night, so I dont think we will be asked to leave. Not sure how long we will be there.. a couple of hours or so.
Also, to have one made... not sure. You know that it will be silly loud, right?

I don't mind, at least it'll scare the Hondas.

I'll have mine done next month 3" stainless all the way into twin 2.5 tips out of the side.
Will include Hi flow cat and 3" race muffler...shhhhh but not too much

The Dahlback Racing Golf has side exit 4" (i think) exhaust!!

If you do it right, you could scare mustangs instead of Hondas

Check the 1/4 mile time in my sig. That was done with 3 power mods.. chip, intake and exhaust. Drag radials and coil overs got the power to the ground.

This is a beatifull beast, I hope to at least make mine look like that someday. I like the side exhaust, but i'd like mine a little more civilized, instead of hanging out that far.

Where the resinator used to sit it's only either 5" or 6" diameter (round )depending on which one i go with. I looked at a 5" seems to fit in there pretty good. Only problem I have is the maganaflow which I want has both a 3.5" inlet and outlet

I'm planning on a dual setup and having it come out both sides, I think it'll look more complete **** this.

Have you guys ever seen the Exhaust for the Dahlback "GTI"? The resonator/muffler is the size of a beer keg and sits inside where the whole back seat would be.
that's why the exit sits so high in the car. I would like to see an exhaust come out of the side, but on a real car that's lowered and maybe even side skirts.

Theres a minor problem with both sides, fuel lines are in the way.

I've seen the DBR-Golf a couple of times and i'm telling you, it's off the chart..
best ET so far: 10.70 (broke the gearbox in the end..)
est. ET (when everything works..) : high 9..
