I'm looking at getting some vents cut into the front right quaterpanel where the airbox is (now a K&N cone) on a MkIII Gti Vr. Does anyone know if putting the vents in actually helps increase intake or does it just look good.
Also, if anyone has had it done, approx. did it cost in $ and time?

thye amke a fender specifically for that called "turbo fender"

all performance mods dont have to be 100% functional. look at my CF hood...it takes off about 30 pounds, but my car is still huge campared to, say a civic, but it looks hella tight http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
