side strips - yay or nay

Does a Jetta look better with them or without them? I know I'm a big boy and can answer this on my own, so if anyone has side view pics of a Jetta with and without the side strips (trim running across both doors) that would be cool. I'm leaving the flares and side skirts on for sure, so pics with those on the cars would be more beneficial to me. Thanks.
