Re: single or dual on a 91 Jetta??? (MattTheFatCat)
hey man i think that quad rounds really only go with small bumpers if theyre euro bumpers... i mean true euro bumpers... but hey whatever you like people... i hate quads though... i just sold mine to buy singles... badged... i hate depriving a VW of its own badge...but they both look just as good... have fun... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
My Vote is to do quad rounds only replace the 5-1/4" with a 10" round rally light setup...so you have BIG lights in the middle and 7" on the outside
That would look tight if you did a good job

Get with the times man!
Single, single clear or rallye all the way!!!

uh dude, most of our cars are "sooo 80s"
Seriously though, i hope you (vr62gti) realize how much more light the quads put out.
Seriously. Im running 100 watt headlights, and 110 watt ion centerlights, and those combined light up streetsigns a 1/2 mile away. I $hit you not, my friend.

yah rallye lights are nice too if you don't cover them up with an eyebrow spoiler YUCK! but yah $1000+ for a conversion? Well hey nevermind I spent $1200 doing my Audi on h4/h1s....

You don't have to have quads to run 2 pairs of bulbs, i have driving lights built into my singles and then it just appears that i have 2 lights and i still have brights if i want to flash people! So there goes the superior lighting of the quads, right down the toilet along with thier styling
