Hey,
I have small bumpers and the silver plastic strip on the upper half has faded to grey.
I already Kiwied my bumpers back to black, and they look nice.
Is there a good way to fix this up too?

Re: Small Bumper Trim Restoration (fiorya)

I very carefully masked my bumpers off and just painted mine, although I have the red ones and not the silver.

last time I checked, the only trim strips the dealer had were the black ones that can be painted any color. They were out rageously priced

I bought some pin striping tape (the right width) and taped my red strips out. You can't even tell, and they will never fade........Or go to the junkyard and get some black strips off another vw and use those.........
