I had a 85 Pontiac Grand Am that was damn near unstoppable in the winter

I was even more impressed on how well this beast performed in the snow without snow tires

*Not actual pic of winter beast

My '91 Passat with Goodyear 185/60/14 Ultragrip 7 Ice Tires cannot be stopped. Its also extremely adept at reacting to the Scandinavian flick. It loves to over steer!
It doesn't look as nice as it did in this pic anymore, for its had a rough two years, but anyway:

My 1990 Civic DX hatch was also remarkably good with Dunlop Graspic DS2's on all 4's. We had one storm where our street did not get plowed at all, and we had about 18" of fairly heavy snow. I was the first one to try to get out, and while the car was nearly high centered much of the time, it made it out without much drama.
