4-motion and a Vr8!! WOW
This is the same car I saw at the store the other night. I waited for him to come out so I could yell at him for ricing out such a nice car. It had 17 LBs and was brand new it looked.
Well im doin about 65 down the highway crusin to work. I see this same guy merging on next to me. I slow down and pace him door to door and give him a nod and jump forward. I wait for him to drop and then I drop it to 4th. I pulled about a car to a car and half on him. There was nobody on the road so we slowed down and ran again. I let him get a car ahead and then walked a car past him again. Gave him a thumbs down for the rice and turned off to work.
I know kill storys arent really allowed, but this is more of a story about his car....

All the Vdubs in my town are str8 riced. One jetta has yellow painted stock valences with a metal wing and a nuespeed sticker. His roomate has a kit with 17" white rims on a stocked 2.0. And now this guy.......................

sorry to say but it would be awfully hard to fit a W8 or a VR8?? into a GTI.. not saying it can't be done.. was it tropic orange or custom painted.. the only thing rare about that thing is that it is tropic orange.. other then that.. 4-mo and vr8??? doubt it.. unless he paid 40 grand + to import it or took it to HPA and had a 24v vr6 4-mo put into it.. but that too is about 60k..

actually in an "automobile" magazine a while back, they had the hyper golf, which was basically just a 4 door golf with a W8. it was pretty nice.

anyone know what the cubic cm's of a W8 is.. My vr6 hardly fits in there.. I mean there is absolutely 0 working space.. so you would have to move everything to the back.. even then.. it would be a tough feat.. even the audi s4 2.7TT wont fit.. well again without tons of money... It would be ALOT cheaper and more effective to TT the vr6 then drop a w8.. especially for front weight.. you want near 50:50.. not 80:20 fwd VW's are somewhere in between there..

its because they attract attention.. hence why yellow and red cars are known as "pull me over officer" cars... Also consequently they are ferrari's main colors..
