This winter I picked up a MK2 2.0 16V GTI. So far I have done TT race downpipe, TT the rest of the way back, TT chip, K&N. My 50 MM intake is at the polishers and will be done in a week or so.
Now I'm wondering what I should do next for the most bang for the buck. What do you guys think? Cams, flywheel, Matrix Turbo (oh wait that's only a dream). I was going to pick up a ABD big bore, but I have been told those are worthless for the most part.

Re: So what's next? (20V'er)

with stock cams, the 50mm is anything but best bang for the buck.
cams. a lightened flywheel won't give anymore power than the stock 13 pound one.

Re: So what's next? (rockin16v)

I actually got a great deal on the 50mm so it is pretty good bang for the buck. But it is just a start. Hey, I realize that about the flywheel, but in the overall picture, it will have to be done.
As for cams, what do you recommend? The car has to stay somewhat streetable.

Ryan, what the hell did you get??????? I have seen no mkII
Share goddamit.
Do the dual exh cam thing or get a set. TT's are factory (in europe anyway). I've heard Schrick's up to about 268 are driveable... Other than that, we'll have to see what's up when I get there...
