I just got a quote from a distributor totaling $1,048 CAD for 3 months! (before tax) I want to know if anyone here has a legal license that they regularly use that doesn't cost 1/2 kidney every 3 months.

Thats for the update service for 3 years, as i already have 2014, it would give me access to 2017, and 3 more releases, but yeah, the 2014 license is for life.
First purchase was around usd$8,500 iirc
